H.H.Shri Mataji has delivered thousands of lectures, given many television and radio interviews, and been the subject of hundreds of newspaper articles around the world. An articulate speaker, H.H.Shri Mataji is the founder and sole director of Sahaja Yoga or "Vishwa Nirmala Dharma", which is an established non-profit organization in many countries worldwide.

International Awards & Recognition
1989, Moscow,Russia H.H.Shri Mataji had a meeting with the Head of the Ministry of Health, USSR. Following which Sahaja Yoga was granted a ‘Full Government Sponsorship’ which included funding for promotion and scientific research.

1993,St. Petersburg, Russia she was appointed as Honorary Member of the Presidium of Petrovskaya academy of Art and Science. In the history of the Academy, only twelve people have been granted this honor, Einstein being one of them. During the same year, she inaugurated the International Conference on "Medicine and Self-Knowledge" in St Petersburg which became an annual event.

1994, Brazil the Mayor of Brazil's capital welcomed H.H.Shri Mataji at the airport, presenting her with The Key to The City, and sponsored all of her programs.

1995 Beijing,China,During the same year, She was invited officially by Chinese Government was designated the Guest Speaker at the International Women's Conference in Beijing; which again was not very commonly done by them.

1995, Romania, She was awarded by the Romanian Ecological University an Honorary Doctorate in Cognitive and Para psychological Sciences.

1986, Italy, H.H.Shri Mataji was declared "Personality of the Year" by the Italian Government.

Our Holy Mother H.H.Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi passed away on 23.February 2011.
She has given up her human form but her immortal Spirit is constantly with us and her followers will continue to spread Sahaja Yoga around the whole world.
